How it all began.

Alex and Jason had their first date in 2011 - a little delayed after realizing they were at 2 different cafes with the same name on the same street! An evening spent talking and sharing stories turned into more dates, travel, and building a life together.

On the last day on a trip from London to Istanbul, surviving 12 hour train rides without air circulation and questionable security, Jason proposed to Alex in one of Alex’s favorite cities, London. It’s taken a few years, but we’re excited to get everyone together in Jason’s favorite city, Tokyo, then celebrating in Kyoto during a magical time of the year.

We’ve made a few more memories in new places, grown a wrinkle or two, had a few drinks, tried and made new foods, raised some more pets, and now we’re ready to celebrate the next adventures in our lives.
